Activity type: Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives (BTEU, Gomel) has been operating in the market of educational services since 1964. The University is the only cooperative higher education institution in Belarus providing training for qualified specialists both for consumer cooperation system and for other sectors of national economy.
Currently, the system of lifelong education of BTEU is represented by a variety of educational levels and forms of training, as well as, various opportunities for self-realization and self-improvement. Representatives of diverse generations study at the university’s educational programmes – from older people at the Third Age Institute to younger schoolchildren (KoperLing children’s camp) and preschool children (foreign language courses). Modern teaching methods for teaching and upbringing are applied.
