Currently, Gomel Regional Clinical Oncological Dispensary is one of the leading clinical institutions in the Gomel region, with 12 clinical departments with a bed capacity of 500 beds, as well as a polyclinic department for 500 visits per shift and all the necessary diagnostic services. Specialised treatment for patients with cancer is available at the Gomel Regional Clinical Oncological Dispensary. Combination and comprehensive treatment is widely used, which includes the use of chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery. Scientific and practical activities (clinical trials) are carried out, the purpose of which is to search for and study new antitumor drugs.
