On September 29, 2023 the visit of the delegation of business circles of the Republic of Belarus to Kursk, organized by the Gomel branch of the BelCCI and the Union “Kursk Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry” with the participation of the Kursk Region Export Support Center, ended.
On September 28, the conference hall of the Kursk Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted an extended meeting and b2b-negotiations of the Belarusian delegation with the business community of Kursk region.
The event was attended by Gennady Babaskin, Deputy Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of Kursk region, Elena Tesleva, First Vice-President of the Union “Kursk Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry”, Elena Mitrofanova, Director of the Department of External Affairs of the Union “Kursk Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry”, leading specialist of the Kursk Region Export Support Center Elena Potapova.
The main emphasis of the meeting was made on the options and prospects of interregional cooperation, as well as the expansion of the spheres of interaction between the Republic of Belarus and Kursk region.
Within the framework of the meeting there were presentations of the enterprises of the participants of the visit: OJSC “Khozyazhestvennye Goods”, OJSC “Sakhartorg”, Branch “Gomel Khleboprodukt Combine”, OJSC “Gomelkhleboprodukt”, OJSC “Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange”, OJSC “8 Marta”, RUPTP “Orsha Flax Factory”, OJSC “Gomelstroymaterialy”.
In addition, the Belarusian delegation visited 6 Kursk enterprises of the participants’ interest: sewing enterprise LLC “Ladoga”, bakery of OJSC “Kurskkhleb”, confectionery factory of JSC “KONTI-RUS”, production enterprises LLC “Kurskkhimvolokno” and LLC “Kursk Enterprise “TIZKUR”, sewing workshops and store of the Trade Network “Raduga”.
The events resulted in the signing of bilateral contracts.
