The Gomel Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a visit of the Gomel Region delegation to Moscow and Kaluga Region (Russian Federation) from January 20 to 22, 2026.

The delegation visited advanced dairy and livestock farms in the Kaluga region, including the large robotic farm «Valov Group». During the visit, meetings were held with farm managers on issues of further cooperation, discussion of aspects of cattle breeding and marketing, organization of production processes and sale of meat and dairy products, technology of its processing, and improvement of livestock productivity.





In addition, the delegation visited LLC «Kaluga MTS», which provides mechanized services to agricultural organizations and personal subsidiary farms, performing seasonal field work such as tillage, forage harvesting and harvesting of grain crops. During the visit, the delegation members got acquainted with the presented samples of agricultural machinery and discussed the specifics of the functioning of similar enterprises in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.



The Belarusian delegation took part in the events of the «AGRAVIA 2026» international Exhibition of technologies for agricultural professionals, which combined several areas at once: vegetable growing, animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, processing and crop production. The exhibition featured domestic and foreign equipment manufacturers, suppliers of seeds, fertilizers, veterinary drugs, developers of innovative solutions and information and communication technologies. The participants of the visit held talks at the stands of the enterprises, got acquainted with the full range of offers from the leaders of the agricultural machinery and spare parts market, and established new partnerships.



During the visit, a meeting was held with the Minister of Agriculture of the Kaluga Region, Alexandr Viktorovich Yefremov, at which key issues of the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region were discussed: support for farms, modernization of infrastructure and processing industry, increasing export potential, training qualified personnel, financial support and the introduction of modern technologies.
