In order to expand trade and economic cooperation, in the period from February 26 to 29, 2024, the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a visit of business circles of the Republic of Belarus to Volgograd (Russian Federation).
On February 27, an expanded business meeting in the B&B format between Belarusian enterprises and enterprises of the Volgograd Region was held on the basis of the Volgograd Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry Union. More than 25 enterprises of the Volgograd region interested in establishing mutually beneficial economic cooperation took part in the negotiations. The event was held with the support of the Committee for Economic Policy and Development of the Volgograd Region, the Committee for Industry and Fuel and Energy in the Military, as well as the Committee for Agriculture of the Volgograd Region.
In addition, a round table was organized for representatives of the agricultural industry of the Volgograd region and the Gomel Regional Agricultural Experiment Station to discuss the possibilities of cooperation. The event was chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Agriculture of the Volgograd region, R.V. Baubel, and 18 people took part in the meeting from the Volgograd side.
The members of the business delegation visited the innovative enterprise GLOBAL CHEMICAL LLC, where they got acquainted with the production and held talks with the management of the enterprise on establishing business partnerships.
On February 28, a visit to the Volgograd plant of industrial equipment SCAT (production of high-precision testing and measuring equipment for the energy industry) was organized, within the framework of which negotiations on possible cooperation were held with the director of the enterprise.
