The XXV International Exhibition “Spring in Gomel” has started its work. This is the largest regional exposition in Belarus, which is a kind of “parade of achievements” of enterprises and organizations of the region.
The organizer is traditionally the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee and the Gomel City Executive Committee.
For 25 years, the exhibition has brought together more than 10 thousand domestic and foreign companies from 50 countries of the world, has become a well-known dialogue platform for discussing current trends and global challenges, its exposition has increased 11 times.
In 2024, an area of over 5.5 thousand square meters. There are stands of more than 200 exhibitors, including leading enterprises in such industries as: woodworking, chemical, light, food industry, mechanical engineering, metalworking, construction, healthcare, education, sports and tourism institutions, as well as business infrastructure organizations, banks and others.
The events of the Exhibition are held in 6 locations of the regional center.
The Republican festival of artisans “Gomel Spring” has traditionally been held on Kozhara Street, presenting the works of more than 100 craftsmen from all over Belarus.
At the grand opening of the 25th anniversary International Exhibition “Spring in Gomel”, guests and participants were welcomed by Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Ivan Ivanovich Krupko. The ceremony was attended by Ekaterina Anatolyevna Zenkevich, Chairman of the Gomel Regional Council of Deputies, Yuri Nikolaevich Gorlov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus-Inspector for the Gomel Region, Vladimir Aleksandrovich Privalov, Chairman of the Gomel City Executive Committee, Marina Vladimirovna Filonova, Director General of the Gomel branch of the BelCCI.
An extensive business program has been formed for the participants of the exhibition and foreign guests from 12 countries: business meetings, presentations, negotiations and visits to enterprises. Educational events have been organized for representatives of marketing services of enterprises, entrepreneurs, artisans and university students: round tables, seminars, master classes.
For the first time, the exhibition hosted a communication platform – the Catherine Roads Forum – an important component of the international Catherine Roads project, focused on the development of small territories through the creation of innovative regional tourist sites and routes. In November 2023, in the Final of the International Award in the field of event tourism “Russian Event Awards”, the project was awarded a Special diploma “For the preservation of the unified Union cultural heritage” in the nomination “The best idea of a tourist event”.
During the 4 days of operation, the exposition was visited by several tens of thousands of people.
On May 26, 2024, a solemn closing ceremony was held, at which Mr. Al-Waheishi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Yemen to the Russian Federation and concurrently to the Republic of Belarus, and Marina Vladimirovna Filonova, Director General of the Gomel Branch of the BelCCI, made welcoming remarks to the guests and participants of the “Spring in Gomel”.
The traditional awarding of the nominees of the exhibition took place based on the results of the competition among the exhibitors. The best of the best at the “Spring in Gomel-2024” were:

- In the nomination “Best presentation of services” – Gomel Regional Clinical Oncological Dispensary;
