XXIV International Exhibition “Spring in Gomel”

On May 25-28, 2023, Gomel will host the XXIV International Exhibition “Spring in Gomel” – a significant international event in the Gomel region, the largest regional exhibition in Belarus, a visiting card of the region.

The organizers are the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee and the Gomel City Executive Committee.

Venue of the Exhibition – Athletics Palace (Yubileinaya St., 52), including the adjacent territories.

Programm

The heads of Gomel Region and the city of Gomel, representatives of public authorities, diplomatic missions, chambers of commerce and industry and business, traditionally take part in this important image event.

Over its history, the exhibition has brought together more than 10 thousand domestic and foreign companies from 47 countries, and has become a famous dialogue platform for discussion of current trends and global challenges (catalog of participants – archive).

Traditionally, on an area of over 5.5 thousand square meters of production potential represent the industrial enterprises of the region, including manufacturers of agricultural machinery, machinery and equipment, meat and dairy industry, forestry of the Gomel region.

In 2023, the exhibitors of the Exhibition will be key industry enterprises from all regions of the Republic of Belarus, as well as Russian regions and countries of the near and far abroad. This will allow participants and guests of the Exhibition to get acquainted with the potential of Belarusian enterprises and the quality of their products, to reach an agreement on the development and improvement of business.

The concept of thematic sections of the Exhibition has been developed:

– the exposition inside the arena is formed on the basis of the industry principle;

– open area – an exhibition of large-sized equipment and industrial designs;

– malls, public catering and retail trade;

– Craftsmen and Artisans Festival “Gomel Spring”.

Scheme of exhibitional expositions

To date, delegations from 11 countries have confirmed participation in Spring in Gomel: 11 countries: Russia, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Germany, Georgia, Zimbabwe, India, Iran, Uzbekistan, Libya, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Sudan. Russia is represented by 10 regions: Bryansk, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Smolensk, Tula, Chelyabinsk regions, Moscow, Udmurt Republic, Stavropol and Perm Territories.

More than 80 Belarusian enterprises from 9 industries have declared participation in the Exhibition: woodworking, chemical, light, food industry, mechanical engineering, metalworking, construction, organizations promoting business, sports and tourism.

The official opening ceremony of the Exhibition and a tour of the exposition with the participation of the Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Ivan Krupko will take place on May 25, 2023 at 15:00.

For the heads of enterprises of the region and representatives of foreign delegations:

On May 26, 2023, from 12-30 to 14-30, together with the Gomel Regional Union of Employers, will be organized a Business Meeting, during which topical issues of business interaction in the current economic conditions will be discussed.

Individual programs are formed according to the request of the participants of the “Spring in Gomel”, as well as specialized B2B and B2C negotiations and visits to enterprises of the region.

In order to promote the tourism potential, preservation of cultural heritage of Gomel region within the framework of International Exhibition “Spring in Gomel” it is planned to hold:

May 25 – 27 – tourism development events (round tables, discussion platform) with the participation of representatives of organizations whose activities relate to business, event, industrial, educational, medical, craft and other types of tourism;

May 26 – 27 – advertising and information tour around Gomel;

May 25 – 28 – IX Republican holiday of masters and craftspeople “Gomel Spring” where masters and craftspeople will present their works.

Gomel Branch of BelCCI at the request of the participants of “Spring in Gomel” will form individual programs, organize specialized B2B- and B2C-negotiations, visits to the enterprises of the region. All the exponents of the Exhibition can announce themselves at the online platform GOMEL PRO BUSINESS (website bizgomel.by).

Expressed suggestions (proposals) will certainly become the object of attention of employees of the Gomel Branch of BelCCI, an individual approach will allow to multiply interesting cases and priority areas of cooperation to a larger audience of our partners, and information materials will be included into the catalog of participants of the XXIV International Exhibition “Spring in Gomel”.
