On May, 23-26, 2022 the visit of delegation of construction industry of Gomel region to Moscow (Russian Federation) took place. The visit was organized by Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The delegation included representatives of “Gomselstroymaterialy” JSC, “Institute “Gomeloblstroyproekt” JSC, “Gomel Casting Plant “CENTROLIT” JSC, and the Gomel branch of the BelCCI.
A business meeting was held at the Moscow Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 24 May. The event was attended by Denis Frantsuzov, President of the Moscow Region CCI, Vladimir Pisariuk, Vice President – Executive Director of the Moscow Region CCI, Sergey Kapustin, Vice President of the Moscow Region CCI, Elena Kanygina, Director of the Investment Promotion and Business Initiatives Department, and Igor Shapovalov, President of the Narofominskiy Urban District CCI of Moscow Region.
The participants discussed options for joint work and concrete steps for cooperation in the construction sector in the near future, and reached preliminary agreements to organise a visit of the Moscow business community to the Gomel region in the summer of 2022.
Members of the Belarusian delegation visited the international exhibition of construction machinery and technologies “CTT Expo 2022” and conducted negotiations.
On May 25, a meeting was held in the Prefecture of the South-Western Administrative District of Moscow with the participation of the First Deputy Prefect Anzor Alisultanov, Deputy Prefect Vladimir Promyslov, the leadership of the District Construction Department and the largest construction companies in Moscow.
Negotiations between the members of the Belarusian delegation and the heads of 4 largest construction companies in Moscow took place. The parties made proposals on the supply of building materials, the provision of services by construction organizations in the Gomel region, as well as issues of import substitution and cooperation in the construction industry.
Presenting the economic potential of the Gomel region, Veronika Burakova, representative of the Gomel branch of the BelCCI, voiced interest in intensifying the exchange of commercial offers, with further placement on the bizgomel.by website.
Representatives of the Prefecture of the South-Western Administrative District of Moscow expressed their interest in intensifying cooperation on the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Gomel Region and the South-Western Administrative District of Moscow.
