On August 11, 2023 the visit of the delegation of Gomel region to St. Petersburg, organized by the Gomel branch of the BelCCI with the support of the Administration of Krasnogvardeisky district and the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, ended.
The main focus of the visit was on interregional cooperation and expansion of the spheres of interaction between Gomel region and the Northern Capital.
The issues were discussed during meetings with Evgeny Razumishkin, Head of the Administration of Krasnogvardeisky District, Vladimir Katenev, President of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Alexander Rzhanenkov, Chairman of the Standing Commission on Social Policy and Health Care of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg.
More than 40 meetings on the interests of delegation members were held with the heads of organizations and deputies of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg. The presentations of the potential of the Gomel region, Mozyr district, Gomel branch of the BelCCI, construction, medical and sanatorium-resort organizations, projects in the sphere of culture and tourism took place.
The members of the delegation visited leading medical clinic and building companies.
The Agreement on cooperation between Administration of the Krasnogvardeysky District of St. Petersburg and Gomel branch of the BelCCI and the Protocol of Intentions between Administration of the Krasnogvardeysky District of St. Petersburg and Mozyr District Executive Committee were signed.
Project initiatives in the cultural sphere were supported by the State Russian Museum and Tsarskoye Selo Museum-Reserve.
The agreements reached as a result of the negotiations will be included into Cooperation Roadmap.
