Trilateral online meeting with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Udmurtia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mordovia.
On June 6, 2023 an online meeting was held between Marina Filonova, general director of the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Rinat Raimov, president of the Union “Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Mordovia” and Alexey Rybakov, vice-president of the Union “Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Udmurt Republic”. Alexei Rybakov.
During the meeting the perspectives of the Belarusian-Russian cooperation with the regions of the Privolzhsky Federal District were discussed. Marina Filonova has made a presentation of the economic potential of the Gomel region and activities of the Gomel branch of the BelCCI. Stressing the importance of contacts building, she informed that the branch office has signed 17 partnership agreements with 11 regions of the Volga Federal District (out of 14 regions). The exceptions are Mordovia, Ulyanovsk and Perm regions.
In view of the active exhibition and fair activity of the Gomel branch of the BelCCI and the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Mordovia and Udmurtia the parties agreed to determine the directions of joint work, including the organization of collective exhibition stands. They also discussed the potential opportunities for cooperation in the field of entrepreneurship and construction industry.
Rinat Raimov, the president of the Union of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Mordovia confirmed the intention to sign the Agreement on cooperation with the Gomel Branch of the BelCCI during the X Forum of Belarusian and Russian Regions in Ufa in June 2023.
