On June 28, 2023, as part of the X Forum of the Regions of Russia and Belarus, the Gomel Branch of the Belarussian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the Union of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Bashkortostan, organized a business meeting of a delegation of business circles from Belarus with Russian companies on construction topics. The participants of the event were greeted by Roman Sitdikov, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Belarus was represented by Marina Filonova, General Director of the Gomel Branch of the Belarussian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, heads of the enterprises of JSC «Mozyr Woodworking Plant», ALC «Tsentrstroyproekt», JSC «Lidastroymaterialy». At the meeting Agreement on Cooperation was signed between the Gomel Branch of the Belarussian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Mordovia.
25 paired negotiations took place. The possibilities of supplying heat-insulating tiles made of wood fiber and other materials, participation in construction projects were discussed.
The format of business negotiations was expanded by a meeting with the General Director of the Union of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Naberezhnye Chelny Basharov Farid Rashidovich and the President of the Union of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Mordovia Rinat Rafikovich Raimov, who were interested in cooperation with the Belarusian side. An agreement was reached on organizing mutual visits and cooperation in the construction sector.
