On March 28, during the visit of the delegation of the Gomel region to St. Petersburg (Russian Federation), timed to the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, a meeting was held in the Administration of the Krasnogvardeisky district with the heads of administrations of the Krasnogvardeisky, Vasileostrovsky, Krasnoselsky and Admiralteisky districts of the northern capital.
From the Belarusian side, the event was attended by Marina Filonova, General Director of the Gomel branch of the BelCCI, Dmitry Burak, Commercial Director of the representative office in Russia of JSC “Rogachevsky MKK”, Vladimir Mednikov, General Director for the development of the Trade Сooperation “Belarusian Products Belarusian Dvorik”, President of the Russian-Belarusian Cooperation Foundation “Belye Rosy” Irina Rogova and representatives of the Foundation.
Presenting the economic potential of the Gomel region and the activities of the Gomel branch of the BelCCI, Marina Filonova proposed intensifying interregional cooperation, as well as facilitating participation in the congress and exhibition activities of both parties, including the resumption of exhibitions and fairs of Belarusian manufacturers in St. Petersburg.
During the meeting, the head of the administration of the Krasnogvardeisky district of St. Petersburg, Yevgeny Razumishkin, expressed interest in establishing contacts with the Gomel region, including the Mozyr district.
Agreements have been reached on the return visit of the head of the Krasnogvardeisky district to the Gomel region in 2022.
The result of the meeting was the signing of the Protocol of Intent between the Gomel branch of the BelCCI and the Administration of the Krasnogvardeisky district of St. Petersburg.
