On March 29-31, 2022, the Belarusian Food Forum was held as part of the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko to St. Petersburg.
The forum combined the formats of conferences and mini-exhibitions with product tasting for representative
of the Russian wholesale business, retail and restaurant chains.
On 29 March, the exposition of Gomel producers – Zhlobin Meat Factory OJSC, Kalinkovichi Meat Factory OJSC and Rogachyov Dairy Canning Plant OJSC – was visited by Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, as well as Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov. While tasting the Belarusian products, the guests of the Forum noted the high quality as well as the preserved traditional taste of Rogachev condensed milk from the Soviet times.
During the event, Marina Filonova, General Director of the Gomel branch of Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Irina Rogova, President of the Russian-Belarusian Cooperation Fund “White Dews” discussed with Vladimir Semashko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation, the expansion of Belarusian products in the trading network “Belarusian Dvorik” and the resumption of exhibition and fair activities of Belarusian manufacturers in St. Petersburg.
